I am a painter and textile artist who lives and works in the beautiful Blue Mountains of NSW, Australia. My home is surrounded by National Park. This precious wilderness is the traditional land of the Gandangarra and Dharug peoples. The landscape is imbued with the spirits of the Traditional owners. In my work I try to depict the emotional and spiritual connection that I also feel with this ancient land.

I have always made art-since I could hold a pencil. I am a self taught artist-having attended many workshops over the years for all types of creative endeavours-From Textile art, Natural dyeing, print-making, felting, painting and life drawing. I am also a retired Registered Nurse.

For many years my art practice was textile based but since 2014 I have become very obsessed with painting. I adore colour, pattern and texture and exploring new ways to use it for expression. I’m also just a bit obsessed with Australian Birds and birding.

I paint in my sunroom Studio regularly and my work is popular with the Blue Mountains audience. Please see my gallery of past works below.
